| GMAT in T minus 5 days

| Seattle was a lot of fun and it was also very tiring. My flight arrived there Friday night and on time no less. My cousin picked my up and I went to their house. After getting something to eat, I help them with the wedding prep. Prepping for a wedding was really exhausting and stressful, and the outcome of it turned out great. The day after the wedding, my cousin took me paddle boating at a lake near UW. Aside from all the stress of helping prep for the wedding, I forgot how nice Seattle really is. It is a great place to relax and everything seems so calm and serene. Now I really want to go back there for an actual vacation not just go for weddings once I have more money and vacation time. All I need to do is find people to go with. Wedding pics are on facebook...if anyone interested ask me for the link.

| Back from San Francisco... It was a fun trip. Got to meet up with a couple of friends, it was nice catching up with them after so many years. After this trip, I discovered that I really like it up in norcal. Now I just need to find a job up there so I can move there. I think what I really need is a change in environment. I need to experienced some where different other than socal. I know I want to head to the East Coast for grad school, now I just need to take the test and apply to grad school. The only bad thing about this trip was the drive coming back to LA. A log dented the hood of my car. Even though my car is not new anymore ( it was when I got it in college a couple of years ago). I think the log that dented my car also dented a couple of cars in front of us. My friend was driving and I was trying to take a nap and the next thing I know I heard a big thump sound. My friend told me that the log bounced off the car in front of us and hit us and then went flying behind us. Thank goodness it only left a little dent, of else I would have been pissed. Maybe its time for me to get a new car soon, hopefully.
On a side note, I restarted my job at my old company as a temp today (let see how this goes, don't really have much faith in them telling me that they will try to make me a perm again once my temp contract ends, I can still hope, but I have to wait and see what happens). Now I have to wake up early in the morning to go to work and I can't sleep in anymore.
Next trip...off to Seattle during memorial day weekend. It should be fun, can't wait.

| Off to San Francisco for a week...time to play a little before I start working again - will post pictures and updates later.
The last couple of weeks have been interesting for me...I interviewed at this pharmaceutical company and they still have not gotten back to me about the position. I am told they are still interviewing when I talk to the recruiter for updates. Since they have not officially rejected me yet, I'm still hoping. Aside from that, I also found out that my former company wanted to hire be back as a temp, at the same level that I was before they laid me off. As of now, I accepted the temp position for now and let see where it will lead me. Since I'm still waiting for other positions, I might as well go back to work at my former place and see how it goes. It would be great if they would actually hire me on as a permanent, but right now, a job is a job. Life is full of little surprises, I did not see this happening, did not think I would be going back to my former company. Now, I'm just going to take everything one step at a time and see how it will work out.
Now that I am going back to work and my class is almost over (taking a class at a jc to kill time), I going to get more serious about studying for my GMATs. I am hoping to take the test near the end of summer so I can see if I can apply for school next year. I need to get it done before I get too comfortable with working and not want to go back to school.
